REGISTRATION CLOSES, FEBRUARY 4TH

*** ONE WEEK LEFT TO REGISTER ***

If you haven’t already done so, get those kids signed up for the Spring season at Eastern Little League. Registration is for those who attend Stafford Elementary, Purcell Elementary, Thomas Elementary, Taylor Elementary, Bowie Elementary, Abilene Christian Schools or Craig Middle School 6th grade only or live within those schools boundaries. **We will take registrations from anyone outside of our League’s established boundaries but if your child is being registered in the Minors/Marjors division and resides outside league boundaries, please note that your child will not be All-Star Eligible. This is clearly lined out in the Little League Baseball Rulebook**. Age divisions are determined by what age the child will be on or before August 31, 2024. See divisions and pricing below. Challengers Division: Open to anyone with physical or intellectual limitations. This is a special division offered through Little League Baseball, Inc for these children to enjoy the game of baseball and not be excluded. We are the only league in the Abilene and surrounding area that offers this division.

TBall: 4-5 year olds

Coach Pitch: 6-7 year olds

Farm (Machine Pitch): 7-8 year olds

Minors: 8-10 year olds

Majors: 10-12 year olds

Welcome to the All New Abilene Legacy Little League! Starting this upcoming Spring, Abilene Dixie and Abilene Southern Little Leagues will be combined into 1 League! TRYOUT INFORMATION

Tryouts are mandatory for all league age 9-14 year olds. You must attend one of the times for your child’s league age. Your child’s league age is their age as of August 31,2024.

Wed. Jan 31st:

11/12 year olds and any 10 year old wanting to tryout for Majors 6:00pm-8:00pm

Thurs. Feb 1st:

9/10 year olds and any 8 year old wanting to tryout for AA minors 6:00pm-8:00pm

Intermediate (13 year olds) 6:00pm

Junior (14 year olds) 6:00pm

Sat. Feb 3rd:

9/10 year olds and any 8 year old wanting to tryout for AA minors 11:00am-1:00pm

11/12 years olds and any 10 year old wanting to tryout for Majors 1:00pm-3:00pm

This is all dependent on the weather. We will reschedule as needed!!

Hi everyone! Well, we are needing last minute help with concessions for this weekend’s FrightFest tournament at Redbud on Nov 4th! Travel teams, this is a great fundraiser! Please reach out to us asap if you are interested!

Wylie Fast Pitch Softball– 

5th Annual Toys for Tots Tournament. Let’s make this year a big one. Currently we have 22 teams signed up, and room for a few more. Gate fee is $5 per day and bring a canned food that will be donated to a local food bank. Also, all players are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy that will be distributed by the US Marine Corps through their annual Toys for Tots.

We regret to say that Eastern Little League will not be hosting Fall Ball this Fall. We encourage you that if you are interested in Fall Ball to sign up with Northern Little League for Fall Ball at abilenenorthernlittleleague.org. Their registration is open until August 25th and they are the only league offering it this season. Fee is $80. We are sorry once again for not offering it this Fall and look forward to seeing all Eastern Little League players in the Spring. Spring registrations will be posted by later on this year. Wylie Fast Pitch Softball– 

Big changes this year! The 2024 season will be managed under the USSSA organization. Games start September 18th. Teams can sign up at USSSA.com. Sign up on the 2024 season under Wylie Fall Ball. Individual registration will be open by August 1st. Same as always, each player will be insured and we pay for umps. Send us a DM with any questions.

– You can live anywhere to play in this league, you DO NOT have to go to school at Wylie to play here.

– Team registration will be done through usssa.com.

– Your age on December 31st, 2023 will determine the age group you play in September 1st, 2023.

– Individual injury insurance is included.

– Umpires make $35/45 per game. The league will pay for those. Let us know if you want to be an umpire

– 6U is definitely an age division.
