Current protocols and safety guidelines:

Masks are RECOMMENDED to enter the facility and to be kept on, with the only exception being players on the court actively engaging in gameplay
Sanitation stations are located throughout the facility to be used as needed
Release Waiver is posted for ALL staff, volunteers, parents, and athletes to see and acknowledge before entry into every single event
There will be a buffer in-between open gym hours and tournament gaps for staff to clear and clean the space before the next groups enter
Additional cleaning will take place throughout and at the conclusion of every day
The number of entrants allowed into the facility for events will be subject to the guidelines from the CDC and state/local officials
All balls will be sanitized before and after each open gym time and tournament game
AYSA highly encourages all individuals considered at-risk to stay home

The Abilene Umpires Association has notified us of a shortage of umpires. At the moment, there are NO umpires planned for farm or minor league games.

If you know of anyone that is a high school or college student, or just someone who would like to umpire this season, please send us a direct message. Give us your email and a good phone number to umpire Eastern Little League games. (The immediate need is minors and farm). If you want to umpire majors, we might work that out as well!

Please help us enforce these safety rules by informing others who are unaware of the rules. These rules are in place for the safety and comfort of all our participants and spectators. Thank you for you compliance.

PLEASE drive slowly in the parking lot and observe the direction signs. The traffic will get very congested so allow extra time for parking.

*No Pets – Not even on a leash

*No alcohol or smoking

*No littering – Teams are responsible for policing their areas for trash

*No fighting or inappropriate behavior

*No solicitation

*Goals, nets, flags, and or benches may not be moved

*No open fires or grilling of any kind

*Parents are responsible for supervising their children

-No climbing on nets and goals

-No playing with flags

Fields are for schedules use only

-No unauthorized practices

-No unauthorized games

-Violators will be fined

BCSA staff and officials have the right to remove any individual from the complex that violates any policy or poses a threat to others due to violent or unruly behavior.

Current protocols and safety guidelines:

Masks are REQUIRED to enter facility and to be kept on, with the only exception being players on the court actively engaging in game play
Sanitation stations are located throughout the facility to be used as needed
Release Waiver is posted for ALL staff, volunteers, parents, and athletes to see and acknowledge before entry into every single event
There will be a buffer in-between open gym hours and tournament gaps for staff to clear and clean the space before the next groups enter
Additional cleaning will take place throughout and at the conclusion of every day
The number of entrants allowed into the facility for events will be subject to the guidelines from the CDC and state/local officials
All balls will be sanitized before and after each open gym time and tournament game
AYSA highly encourages all individuals considered at-risk to stay home

Sign ups begin this Friday, January 1st. Sign up before January 29th to avoid being charged the city facility fee.

We will only have 1-2 “in person” registrations this year, so don’t forget to sign up online so you don’t miss out!

We are recommending for everyone to sign up before January 29th , the city of Abilene has added a $20 fee for in town players & $25 fee for out of town players . This is the email we have received today . We will be adding two extra dates in January 26, 27 at the senior field from 6pm-8:30pm.

Who’s ready for some baseball?? Registration is open! Last day to sign up will be January 16th.

***NEW players must register online first and then come to Live Registration at Wylie West Junior High on January 12th from 6-8pm or on January 16th from 11-1pm! We can’t wait to get this season started!

Abilene Fast Pitch Softball Association – no January update

We will begin Spring 2021 sign-ups January 11th! Whether you’re a returning player, or new to the game, we would LOVE to have you here at Abilene North!

Softball is a fantastic workout for our kiddos, helps with muscle development, and will give our children a chance to build leadership skills! We accept children as young as 2 years old through 14! For more information, please call the phone numbers listed on our flyer or send us a message!

**Wylie Fastpitch will no longer accept personal checks for registration, sponsorships or tournaments. The increasing number of returned checks in the last two years has forced us to make this decision. We will continue to accept cash, money orders, credit/debit cards and paypal.

**The Abilene City Council recently approved a “recreational field use fee” of $20/player for Abilene residents and $25 for out of town players. This fee will go into effect at the end of January.

IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE THEN YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED THE EXTRA FEE, SO SIGN UP EARLY!!!!

This fee is for all recreational leagues that use city fields, not just Wylie softball. We’re not happy about it either

The AYSA VolleyKids League was a huge success, with over 200 kiddos coming out every Monday to learn the game of volleyball!

The AYSA Hot Shots League is getting ready to gear up November 2nd!
