Abilene Eastern LL –

As Eastern Little League closes out Fall Ball for the 2022 season tomorrow night, the league would like to thank the coaches for volunteering their time to help coach the kids and help them get better in the division they participated in for 6 weeks this Fall Ball Season. The league cannot thank you enough. Y’alls work and dedication definitely don’t go unnoticed. A special thank you to our umpire Richard, who called games for the Advanced Kid Pitch Division. He did a great job for us and called some great games. Also a Special thank you to the volunteers who ran the concession stand, it was greatly appreciated and did fairly well for Fall Ball. And last but definitely not least, THANK YOU PARENTS for signing your child up to participate in Eastern’s Fall Ball season, no matter where your son/daughter played during the Spring season. We had nearly 120 kids sign up for 3 divisions (Advanced Coach Pitch, Beginner Kid Pitch & Advanced Kid Pitch). We truly appreciate you all and enjoyed having you all at Eastern. We hope you and your child enjoyed this Fall Ball Season. We look forward to the spring season and watching these boys grow further in their game and compete no matter where their home league is.

For those who call Eastern Home, great things are in the works for the upcoming 2023 Spring Season. Also, be on the lookout for registration dates which will be posted in the next month or two.

Abilene Fastpitch Softball Association –

FRIGHTFEST TOURNAMENT

Sadly, our biggest tournament of the year, FrightFest, will need to be canceled, FOR HALLOWEEN WEEKEND, due to getting too much rain! We had a great number of teams register to play and because of that, we will be moving it to NOVEMBER 4-6TH.

** We will still have the costume contest & homerun derby! **

Please let us know if you can play, ASAP!

Better late than never (thanks to the rain)!! We are needing some more 12U teams (and all other ages welcome also) to make this tournament even better! Sign your team up!!

Coaches,

With the continuing rain this afternoon, the fields will be in an unplayable state all day tomorrow due to standing water and soft turf. Wylie has been gracious to allow us access to their fields and we do not want to damage them by playing on soft turf tomorrow once the standing water dries.

In conjunction with what we stated at the beginning of the season, we will be moving all games currently scheduled for 10/29 to the same field and time on 11/12.

We look forward to concluding our season the weekend of 11/12.
